Supernova. Neon&Lumi Series.

This panting is mesmerising when it gets dark – Yellow glows neon yellow in the dark!

When we work hard on our dreams and no longer fit into the current ‘environment’,  we are often literally pushed onto the next level, that might feel  uncomfortable and scary – being forced to find new ways, devote more time to our art, start a new business, make new contacts and so on. But it’s all for the better as long as we are following our dreams. This painting symbolises all our efforts on the path to our dreams turning into enormous success.

“A star is in balance between two opposite forces. The star’s gravity tries to squeeze the star into the smallest, tightest ball possible. … The collapse happens so quickly that it creates enormous shock waves that cause the outer part of the star to explode! That resulting explosion is a supernova.” 

In the Neon & Lumi  glowing series I’m using fluorescent paint that glows in UV (orange and pink) and luminescent paint that accumulates light and glows in the dark!
